For many years Terry Wolter dreamed of forming a professional adult women’s tap company.  The Rhythm Junkies tap company is the realization of that dream.  The Rhythm Junkies are proud to celebrate nine years as a professional non-profit dance company providing the only full length tap concert in North Texas as well as many continuing tap education opportunities for all levels of students throughout the DFW metroplex. 

The Rhythm Junkies are excited to present their seventh annual EVERYTHING ON TAP concert on March 27, 2010, at 2 and 8 p.m.  The concert will take place at the Courtyard Theatre (1509 Ave H, Plano 75074).  Tickets are available March 1, 2010, at Gotta Dance in Plano and London School of Dance in Garland for $15.  Tickets will be available at the door for $18.  Tickets are also available by phone at (972) 412-8300.  This year the RJs will be performing their version of the wonderful Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell dance, Begin the Beguine, a dance to Peggy Lee's Fever, a tribute to Dallas tap legend Buster Cooper, It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing, and more!

Master classes with Barbara Ryan Phillips and Debra Bray will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2010, at Janie Christy Dance (9090 Skillman, Dallas).  Intermediate and advanced classes will be held 10:30-11:45 a.m. and 12-1:15 p.m.  $25 for one class, $45 for both.
